Which information about you do we collect?
It is necessary to create an account if you wish to use the worldwide LUMIX PRO service. The following data are collected and stored for this purpose.

- Product registration (camera models and lenses)

- Uploaded copy of the invoices for verification of the purchase
The following data are added by Panasonic when a member’s account is created.

- Status (Red/Silver/Gold/Platinum/Black), depending on the number of registered LUMIX products, or only on invitation by Panasonic in the case of the Black service.

- LUMIX PRO membership number and internal database number of the customer

- Start and expiry dates of the programme / end of the service.

Transmission of the data
If a customer has a problem while abroad and makes use of the service, the service centre must be able to check whether the information on the membership card is correct (first name, surname, membership number, LUMIX PRO status, range of services and validity) or whether this customer is entitled to additional services. For this reason it is necessary that our worldwide service centres have read rights to the data collected by us, in order to verify the customer and the services to which he/she is entitled and thus prevent any misuse.
Where do we store your personal information?
Your data are processed in certified data centres (ISO 27001) in Europe and made available for the service.
How do we protect your personal information?
We take all the latest technical and organisational measures to protect your information. To protect the handling of your personal data we limit access to such information to those persons who need the information and who are authorised to access such information. Your data are stored within the scope of LUMIX PRO membership for as long as we require them for fulfilling the services, for as long as storage is required by statutory provisions or until such time as you request their deletion.
Transmission of your personal information
The Internet is a global environment. By using the service you send information to us electronically and such data can be transmitted via the Internet internationally depending on where you are located. Please note that the Internet is not a secure environment and that this data protection regulation applies solely to our use and publication of your personal information to the extent they are in our possession and under our control. In view of the open nature of the Internet, all Internet transmissions are undertaken at your own risk.
